Seeing the next thing, identifying knowledge holders, getting the info needed to filling the knowledge gap  

Meg grew up surrounded by technology. Her father played a pivotal role in shaping her career, often bringing home emerging tech such as floppy disks containing early versions of Windows as it transitioned from DOS. Science and technology have always been her passion, but while studying she realised science and tech alone doesn’t make good products. She saw broadband being made available between European cities at huge costs, then the wave of mobile phone access to the internet changing everything. She also observed the societal impact of touchscreen phones and the social media apps that came pre-installed, recognising both the potential for dystopia and the benefits they could bring.

Today, with a PhD in Social Robotics, Meg is a creative and forward-thinking technologist with a passion for designing and integrating diverse technologies and robots in ways that are inclusive, accessible, and enhance overall wellbeing. She has led digital transformation initiatives, bringing a strong understanding of human-centred design to large-scale projects. As a specialist in robot UX, social robotics, human-robot interaction, social AI and socially responsible design, Meg excels at aligning cutting-edge technologies with user needs and organisational goals to drive future-focused outcomes.

Outside of work, Meg is found camping, mentoring and peer reviewing academic articles.
